What is PeriSeal?

 

PeriSeal is a slim designed external door seal installed on the 3 sides of the door frame to close the gaps when the door is closed. It is extremely useful in the prevention of sound, smoke, water, light, insects.

After I install PeriSeal, will the door become sound proof?

 

No. PeriSeal is useful for blocking sound from the door gaps. Please take note that small levels of sound can only pass through the wooden door too.

Will it affect the door closing after I install PeriSeal?

 

No. PeriSeal will not affect the opening and closing of the door after item is installed. 

​

Is PeriSeal installed by double sided tape or screws?

 

PeriSeal is installed using screws and mounting it directly on the door frame, on the outside panel of the door.

Can I install PeriSeal on sliding doors?

 

No, PeriSeal is suitable only for swing doors.

What are the advantages of PeriSeal?

 

PeriSeal can block out unwanted insects, water, sound, light and dust from outside the house.

- Water will not seep into the house from the outside while there is cleaning going on.

- Insects will not be able to penetrate the door seal when the door is closed. 

- PeriSeal is useful for blocking sounds from outside of the house and vice versa.

 

What is PeriSeal made of?

 

It is made of aluminium cover and silicone seal. Aluminium material is known for anti rust while the silicone seal is effective in the prevention of sound, water, smoke, light and insects.

 

How long is the warranty period?

There is a 1 year warranty against the product. There is a 1 year onsite warranty when installed by Smart Home.

Subject to any statutory provisions to the contrary, this Warranty excludes any and all claims for loss or damage suffered through the use of or resulting from the non – operation or ineffective operation of the product or any part thereof including loss or damage to furniture, carpets, walls, foundations and property of whatsoever description or any other consequential loss or damage either directly or indirectly due to negligence, loss of use, malfunction, defect, damage, breakdown or leakage from the product whatsoever and howsoever arising.
 

Subject to any statutory provisions to the contrary, the liability of Smart Home for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from any defects in the product supplied (whether caused by negligence or otherwise) or for loss or damage suffered through the use of or resulting from the non – operation or ineffective operation of the product or any part thereof shall be limited to the replacement or repair of such product or part thereof or to damages not exceeding the invoice value of said product at the option of  Smart Home.
