What is the difference between lumens and watts?

 

Lumens measure the actual brightness of a light. Watts measures the actual power that it consumes.

What is colour temperature?

 

Warm white (2700K - 3000K): Best for cosy areas like bedrooms and living rooms. 

Cool white (4000K - 4500K): Best for kitchens, dining spaces and study areas.

Daylight (6000K - 6500K): Great for workspaces, workshop areas and storerooms.

Why should I used LED lights?

 

LED lights uses 50% to 70% less energy as compared to traditional lights?  They turn on instantly and do not contain toxic materials.

Can I engage Smart-Home to install my lightings?

 

Yes. We have our own professional in-house technical team who are all certified to install lightings. Enjoy our onsite warranty guarantee when we install the lightings.

What protocol is the smart light - WiFi or Zigbee version?

 

Smart LED light strip is available in WiFi and Zigbee and requires a Zigbee 3.0 hub to work with. It operates using a 24V driver.

Can I buy the item and DIY?

Yes. It is easy to do set up. There is a manual inside the packaging with step by step instructions to guide you to download the app and do the setup. 

 

How long is the warranty period?

Normal lightings - 6 months warranty

Magnetic track lights and Smart lights - 1 year warranty

All lights come with a 1 year onsite warranty when installed by Smart-Home.

Subject to any statutory provisions to the contrary, this Warranty excludes any and all claims for loss or damage suffered through the use of or resulting from the non – operation or ineffective operation of the product or any part thereof including loss or damage to furniture, carpets, walls, foundations and property of whatsoever description or any other consequential loss or damage either directly or indirectly due to negligence, loss of use, malfunction, defect, damage, breakdown or leakage from the product whatsoever and howsoever arising.
 

Subject to any statutory provisions to the contrary, the liability of Smart Home for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from any defects in the product supplied (whether caused by negligence or otherwise) or for loss or damage suffered through the use of or resulting from the non – operation or ineffective operation of the product or any part thereof shall be limited to the replacement or repair of such product or part thereof or to damages not exceeding the invoice value of said product at the option of  Smart Home.
