Will the electric laundry hanger rust?

 

All ASTRO electric laundry hangers are manufactured with aluminum material which will not rust. The weight support loading wires are made of stainless steel SUS304 material and able to prevent rust too.

What is the purpose of double scissor lift support?

 

All our system is designed with double scissor lift support to further enhance stability when the motor is ascending or descending. The weight support loading wires are made of stainless steel SUS304 material and able to prevent rust too.

Can an electric laundry hanger be installed in any HDB or BTO balcony?

 

Yes, they can be installed on almost all concrete ceilings. Standard HDB service yards or balconies are perfect fits.

 

Can I install the item over false ceiling?

 

If you have a false ceiling, our installation team will use special brackets to anchor the system securely to the true concrete slab above. Kindly take note that there are additional charges of around $180 to $250 for this type of installation.

How much weight can an electric laundry rack hold?

 

All ASTRO electric laundry hangers can hold a 40kg weight loading when the system is moving up or down. 40kg weight load is equivalent to around 4 full loads for the washing machine.

Are these systems safe if I have children or pets?

 

Yes, our systems come with an automatic collision stop sensor. If the rack hits an obstacle (like a person, a pet, or a high shelf) while descending, it stops moving instantly to prevent injury or damage.

How long is the warranty period?

 

There is a 5 year warranty for the up/down motor, 2 year full onsite warranty for all parts.

Subject to any statutory provisions to the contrary, this Warranty excludes any and all claims for loss or damage suffered through the use of or resulting from the non – operation or ineffective operation of the product or any part thereof including loss or damage to furniture, carpets, walls, foundations and property of whatsoever description or any other consequential loss or damage either directly or indirectly due to negligence, loss of use, malfunction, defect, damage, breakdown or leakage from the product whatsoever and howsoever arising.
 

Subject to any statutory provisions to the contrary, the liability of Smart Home for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from any defects in the product supplied (whether caused by negligence or otherwise) or for loss or damage suffered through the use of or resulting from the non – operation or ineffective operation of the product or any part thereof shall be limited to the replacement or repair of such product or part thereof or to damages not exceeding the invoice value of said product at the option of  Smart Home.
